Texans safety Andre Hal delivered great news last month when he announced that his Hodgkin’s lymphoma is in remission and his path back to the field moved forward again on Wednesday.Head coach Bill O’Brien announced that the team has opened the 21-day window to activate Hall from the non-football illness list. That means Hal can take part in practice with the team over the next three weeks while they evaluate whether he will play during the 2018 season. If he’s not activated before that window closes , Hal will not be able to play until next year.“From the beginning, I knew I was going to play. I just never knew when,” Hal said on Wednesday. “It’s very exciting. It’s been a long wait for me.”Hal started every game for the Texans last year and he started 22 games over the previous two seasons, so it would be a big piece for Houston to get back for the second half of the season if all continues to go well for Hal.Saturday Night’s Alright For Commenting: 10/6/18 I’m burnt out and dried out and I have the state fair to blame. I’ve been to one once before in Sacramento, California. In the middle of a summer back when the cities were national parks and not the forests and streams and granite mountains. Things reversed. When you live in the woods and desert humanity and society becomes the escape , the strange place. A grocery store is fascinating. Do we really need that many brands of canned beans? Damn I’d do a lot to just sit in an air conditioning and watch a movie. Wait, I can like, just go take a shower. And when I was out there, at that state fair, I ate fried food , drank some plastic bottles of wine I couldn’t afford, and watched the junk yard cars crashed into each other. Today, the TEXAS state fair was about the same. The food was fried. There were the same insane backyard coasters put together with paste and rubber bands. The major difference is that the fair in Texas revolves around the big OU-UT football game, the Cotton Bowl is right in the center of it, wow! , I had no idea, and the one out in California revolves around a horse racing track. Anyways, the turkey leg clogged me up, the drinks I had to suck down tickets wore me out, and now I’m rallying with V8 and coffee and thinking about the past to see black and white and try to make myself austere and reflective so I can really enjoy this The National show. Anyways , that’s all I got. The floor is yours to talk about whether it’s Texans-related or not. Just remember the standard commenting rules apply.
